Golden Spot: Century Tower
I get off the bus at the corner of Museum Road and Newell Drive just about every day. I take the same route to class, yet each day I find myself more and more grateful as I walk toward the Century Tower.
To me the Century Tower stands tall for all of Gainesville to see. It is a famous landmark for the school, but it also gives me hope. I came to UF to work hard toward my dream of becoming a sports broadcaster. Each time I achieve a major accomplishment like getting assigned to be the Gators' Softball Beat Reporter or getting published online, I come to the tower and remember coming here with only dedication.
UF has given me tools to reach my dreams. And the Century Tower resembles those ambitions and hope for a bright future.
